Make Accepting Credit Cards Easy
In the last year or so, mobile Credit Card processing has shown a dramatic increase in usage. It seems like everyone now has a mobile app. Accepting Credit Cards has gotten easier.
There are some rules you should follow to make sure you don't run into problems with the formats.
For instance, you should know how much you will be transacting on a regular basis and how it works with the type of business you run.
Do your research into the different companies that offer the services also. No matter which provider you go with, when all the paperwork is done, make sure you tell all of your customers that you are now accepting credit card payments.
There a re many ways to go about this. The most obvious way is to update your website with the information. Get an email address with your company name in it and change your signature. You can make display signs to show at your table or booth. Be sure to share the news with your social media platforms and provide contact information.

Wireless Terminals and Mobile Applications
Having the advantage of portability in a wireless terminal is a big plus because it's a time saver. And we all know that time is money. You can process your transactions anywhere that you have phone reception.There is also less equipment to purchase if you have a smartphone or other mobile device. In fact, some vendors will often include a processing method, factored into the cost of the wireless terminal. Mobile apps will work with someone like Authorize.net.
Other processing alternatives like I-pads are available. You can manually enter the card number or, using available hardware, swipe the cards directly. Vendors, such as Square, have the app to do this. You can also download a card reader app at low cost or even for free, in some cases. Some companies offer discounted services for non profits and public institutions if they would like to take advantage of this.
Last but not least , are the security issues you need to be aware of. For instance, does your wireless terminal or application encrypt the transaction for protection? If the card is swiped, does it show the full number, or just the last four digits. Does the device store the credit card numbers? If it does store the information, it shouldn't.
Remember to keep your wireless terminal or smartphone safe. Always leave it in a safe place because they are easy to steal and are an attractive target for this reason.

About Card Payment Services
There is a ton of plastic out there masquerading as credit cards. I know , because I've got a few and life has gotten more complicated because of it.
Thats how I got into this business. It seemed to me that I could make things simpler in the long run.
So now I do card payment services, credit card machines and business merchant accounts, just to name a few. My whole strategy is based on making money for the client.
Here are a few more things I will be involved in also: accepting credit card payments online and business credit cards online. Wireless terminals are an interesting product.
